Train Service Suspended After Tragic Incident In Wesmeath

Gardaí attended the scene yesterday evening.

An Irish Rail service was suspended yesterday evening after a tragic incident in Westmeath.

The 5.10pm Connolly to Sligo train was delayed for 90 minutes at about 6.30pm just outside Mullingar.

The line was closed and passengers remained onboard while Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene.
