TUI Warns Of Crisis As Ireland Ranks Last In Education Funding

Ireland is also below the OECD average for teachers’ starting salary.

The TUI says without proper funding, Ireland's education system won't survive. 

An OECD report published today found that Ireland is bottom of an international league table for government expenditure on second-level education as a proportion of GDP. 

The report also shows Ireland is below the OECD average for teachers’ starting salary and salary after 10 years’ teaching experience.
