An Offaly woman says she's 'older and wiser' as she becomes the first elected female president of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann.
Attracta Brady says she's looking forward to bringing modernism to the organization and feels ready to fulfill her role, representing the CCÉ.
She ran for the position over a decade ago, but says, in hindsight, it wasn't the right time.
This role will take her both nationwide and international to events.
