A midlands man is blaming the spike in Wood Pellet prices on the government's decision to ban turf cutting.
Andrew Weldon is furious that a pallet of fuel for his pellet stove has nearly doubled in price from €390 to €750 in the last 12 months.
The Clara man changed from burning turf when renovating his home four years ago.
