Gardaí in Westmeath are reporting a high level of compliance at checkpoints across the county last weekend.
However, a seizure of €5,000 worth of drugs, believed to be related to organised criminal activity in the region was made.
Two drivers were also arrested for drug driving offences after being stopped.
