Two Midlands Lotto players are celebrating after winning major prizes in Saturday night’s National Lottery draws.
A player in Laois won €389,066 after matching five numbers and the bonus in the main Lotto draw with a ticket bought at SuperValu Portlaoise.
Meanwhile, a player in Westmeath scooped the top Lotto Plus 2 prize of €250,000 with a ticket purchased at Tesco Mullingar.
More than 77,000 players nationwide won prizes across the Lotto and Plus draws on the night.
With no jackpot winner, Wednesday’s Lotto jackpot is now expected to reach an estimated €3.5 million.
