Two teachers from an Offaly secondary school are being recognised nationally for their work as STEM role models.
Sindy Meleady and Aisling Burke from the Scared Heart School in Tullamore are on the shortlist for the STEM Mentor of the Year Award.
The two teachers have been instrumental in leading students all the way to the VEX Robotics World Championships in Texas earlier this year.
The school won the prestigious 'Judges Award' for their innovation, teamwork, and engineering skills.
