The two-vehicle incident happened in Irishtown, Mountmellick shortly after 8:00pm last night.
The drivers of both vehicles, a woman in her 60s and a woman in her 20s, were taken to Midland Regional Hospital Tullamore for treatment of injuries believed to be non-life-threatening at this time.
