Two-Thirds Of People Want To Disposable Vapes Banned

A public consultation on the idea is currently underway.

Two thirds of people in Ireland want to see disposable vapes banned.

Research carried out by IPSOS for the Irish Heart Foundation shows only 28% opposed the idea.

The Government committed last October to banning the devices, and a public consultation ends next month.

Offaly County Council are among those to make a submission to the consultation, calling for a ban on the devices.

The IHF says getting disposable vapes off the shelves will help stop another generation from becoming nicotine addicts.
