Two Vehicles Seized By Midlands Gardaí

Both were stopped by the Laois Roads Policing Unit.

Two vehicles have been seized by Gardaí in the midlands in separate road offences.

Gardaí stopped one motorist in Portlaoise after their vehicle was discovered to be out of tax for 169 days, and the driver was disqualified from driving.

They have been arrested and charged to appear before Portlaoise District Court.

The second vehicle, also seized in Portlaoise, was stopped after the driver was stopped for not wearing a seatbelt.

They were also arrested and issued with a fixed charge notice.
