Around 600 customers around Athlone and its surrounding areas can expect disruption from 11am to 2pm tomorrow afternoon.
The areas affected are Priory Park, The Marina Village, Ashdale, Tormey Villas, Esker Park, Abbey Road Cottages, Old Coosan Road, Coosan Road, Woodland Grove, Assumption Road, Ardilaun, Coosan Point Road, Arcadia Court, Highfield Court, Arcadia Crescent, Beech Walk West, Slli An Aifrinn, Old Ballymahon Road, Ballymahon Road, Beech Park, Beechfield, Auburn Villas, Auburn Terrace, Beech Park West, Ardnaree, Montree, Marina View and the surrounding areas.
It's part of the major upgrade works to strengthen the town’s water supply by upgrading a trunk water main that connects Athlone Town Water Treatment Plant to the Annagh Reservoir.
