Uisce Eireann Working To Restore Water Supply In Westmeath

Works are underway across different areas in the county.

Uisce Éireann crews are currently working to restore water supply for people in Westmeath.

Works are underway in Ballynagore, Streamstown, Castletown Geoghegan and surrounding areas.

Overnight restrictions will also be in effect from midnight to 6am from tonight, helping to maintain treated reservoir levels and ensure sufficient supply during the day.

Uisce Eireann is apologising for any inconvenience caused, and is warning that it may take two to three hours for supply to be restored fully after the repairs.
