Workers can add a significantly longer extension to their pension if they submit their paperwork before an April 5th deadline.
The deadline for Irish people who have worked in the UK to extend their State Pension is just weeks away.
Workers can add 16 years to their UK pension if they submit the necessary paperwork before the 5th of April.
If they miss the deadline, their pension will only be extended for six years.
The UK pension can be claimed on top of an Irish pension.
