A Westmeath based fire protection company is being acquired by the US's APi Group.
Writech, the founding office of Wtech Fire Group is headquarted in Mullingar and employs over 800 people, serving across sectors from data centres to renewable energy.
While APi also operates in fire and life safety, security, elevator and escalator, and specialty services with over 500 locations worldwide.
The deal is expected to close in the second half of this year subject to required regulatory approvals.
