US–Iran Talks Ease Tensions As Oil Prices Fall

Crude oil prices have fallen back to pre-conflict levels after the US–Iran 60 day negotiation agreement.

A former Army Ranger and Oireachtas Foreign Affairs Committee member says relations between the US and Iran have made significant progress in recent weeks.

Crude oil prices have declined significantly to pre-war levels since the US and Iran agreed to a 60-day negotiation period on the 17th June to address Iran's nuclear programme and pursue an end to the war.

Despite a ceasefire that took effect on Saturday, an Israeli airstrike killed two people in southern Lebanon yesterday, state media reported.
