US Medical technology outfit G&F Precision Molding is creating 31 new jobs in Mullingar over the next five years.
The company, which employs 180 people across two manufacturing sites in the States, will establish a new European manufacturing and commercial operation at its Marlinstown site which will support engineering, sales, and prototype development.
The Mullingar plans will initially focus on engineering, sales, and prototype development.
By year three, the company plans to move to a larger facility in Westmeath to support further growth.
The news follows criticism from Laois TD Brian Stanley over the lack of attention the IDA is paying to his constituency after the announced closure of Leprino Cheese in Portlaoise.
