2021 Offaly person of the Year and Tullamore's James O'Connor passed away in March of this year.
Accessible Counselling Tullamore, which Mr. O'Connor founded, is asking people to come for a walk between 5pm and midnight today at Tullamore Harriers.
An opening ceremony kicks off at 6pm, followed by a one mile race - the fastest man and woman will be presented with a custom trophy.
Music, food and drink vendors and face paint will also be on offer, and all donations will go to ACT.
