Walkie Talkies Available For Midlands Hospital Staff

Staff are concerned that they are running low on protective clothing.

Walkie talkies are available for staff to communicate with patients in the Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore.

A nurse appealed on Facebook for baby monitors to allow them to communicate with patients without having to dress up every time they needed to ask a person a question as they are running low on protective clothing.

The hospital says it's engaging with staff to resolve the concerns raised and that there are call bells at each bedside and walkie talkies are available should they be required.
