Water Source Recovery Behind Hosepipe Ban Extension For Laois and Offaly - Uisce Eireann

Water Treatment Operation Manager with Uisce Éireann James Joyce says more water needs to be conserved.

The hosepipe ban is being extended in Laois and Offaly due to water sources needing more time to recover. 

That's according to the The Water Treatment Operation Manager with Uisce Éireann James Joyce, after the announcement that the nationwide hosepipe ban in place since late last month will be extended in 13 counties.

Carlow, Cork, Dublin, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Limerick, Meath, Offaly, Tipperary, Waterford, Wexford and Wicklow, will remain under the conservation order until the end of September.
