Water supply in a Westmeath town is returning this evening, after successfully completed works of newly installed water mains,
It's part of ongoing works to connect the Athlone Town Water Treatment Plant to the Annagh Reservoir.
Customers in Priory Park, The Marina Village, Ashdale, Tormey Villas, Esker Park, Abbey Road Cottages, Old Coosan Road, Coosan Road, Woodland Grove, Assumption Road, Ardilaun, Coosan Point Road, Arcadia Court, Highfield Court, Arcadia Crescent, Beech Walk West, Sli An Aifrinn, Old Ballymahon Road, Ballymahon Road, Beech Park, Beechfield, Auburn Villas, Auburn Terrace, Beech Park West, Ardnaree, Montree, Marina View and the surrounding areas experienced a disruption to their supply while the planned works were ongoing.
Uisce Éireann is thanking affected customers for their understanding while works were being carried out.
