A Westmeath Councillor is calling out the lack of spending on rail services in the county.
Kinnegad Labour rep Denis Leonard says the Killucan Train Station project could be delivered for just over €10m, along with support from the EU.
The site has been closed since the 1960s, and has been subject to a two-decade-long campaign to get it back up and running.
He says a new feasibility study needs to be conducted for the station:
