A Westmeath councillor is expressing his concern over continued derelict sites in his area.
15 properties are currently on the Derelict Sites register in the municipal district in Mullingar and Kinnegad, with 12 residential and three commercial.
Independent Councillor for Mullingar Mick Dollard says that the local authority have issued nine initial warning letters to property owners this year over dereliction concerns.
