Westmeath County Council is announcing a budget of €100.6 million for 2023.
The figure represents an increase of 11% on last year's allocation of €90.5 million.
Within the budget, there is an extra 5% for road maintenance which is now provisioned for up to €16.5 million.
Energy costs have risen €1.87 million but has been largely offset by a government grant worth €1.4 million.
