Plans to build a 94-home estate are being pursued by Westmeath County Council.
The proposed development in Athlone is to the rear of Cornamagh cemetery, near Cornamaddy and was originally being earmarked as a 108 unit site.
A copy of the plans and a Nature Impact Statement for the project are available for viewing in the Athlone Civic Centre and the council's Mullingar headquarters.
