The two acre site is in Athlone.
Westmeath County Council is to receive a €250,000 windfall from the sale of a two acre site in Athlone.
Chief Executive Pat Gallagher said the sale would help address a funding gap in the capital program, emphasising that the land is a non strategic asset.
It's being purchased by Cunningham Design and Planning based in Longford.
