People living in Westmeath are going to lose access to their water supply today.
Uisce Éireann is carrying out what they're calling "essential works" to the network in Athlone over the course of the next 48 hours.
The works begin at 9am, and will continue until 5pm this evening, and the same again tomorrow.
Customers living on the Cartrontroy Road, and around Killyon Hill and Retreat Heights in Athlone will be affected, and people are being warned normal supply may take two to three hours to return after the works finish.
