Defence expert, Mullingar's Declan Power believes it's troubling ahead of Ireland's EU Presidency next year.
Five drones were detected near Volodymr Zelenskyy’s flight path in Dublin Bay ahead of his visit here this week.
Navy personnel spotted the devices off Howth despite a no-fly zone, though officials say the Ukrainian President's aircraft was never at risk.
