A Westmeath father of two says he feels "profuse" shame after posting a social media video in which he threatened a young mother from another family.
30 year old Micheal Joyce of Grange Village, in Mullingar pleaded guilty to publishing threatening communication with intent to cause harm to Lucy Dinnegan at his home on November 11 last year.
The remarks, in which he threatened to assault her with a pint glass, were reported to Gardaí in Mullingar on the day of the incident.
