Gardai are investigating an alleged incident of assault in a Westmeath town.
It happened in the early hours of Sunday morning on Oliver Plunkett Street in Mullingar at around 12:30 am.
Two women, aged in their 20's suffered non life threatening injuries as a result of the incident.
Investigations are ongoing.
