A leading global tech company is preparing to move base in Westmeath.
Ericsson intends to move its 1,300 staff workforce in Athlone, with reports suggesting a new home at the IDA Park in Garrycastle.
The company says its currently engaged in detailed architecture design work.
Additional details are set to be provided in the second half of 2026 as the project advances further.
