Workers in Westmeath were the highest paid in the midlands last year.
Employees in the county earned €46,782 in 2022, according to new analysis from the CSO.
Those in Laois are just behind that figure, with an average earning of €46,563, while workers in Offaly took home just over €44,000.
Dublin was home to the highest earners in the country, with an average figure of more than 60 thousand euro, while Monaghan is the lowest, with just over €40,000.
Men also earned slightly more than women last year.
