Westmeath Man To Share ICSA Presidency

The news comes after last night's election ended in a tie.

The Irish Cattle and Sheep Farmers Association presidency will shared between Westmeath man Sean McNamara and the incumbent President, Dermot Kelleher.

The Sheep, beef, and suckler farmer from Lismacaffrey agreed to the power sharing arrangement following a tie at last night's election.

Mr Kelleher will remain in the role for 2023 with Mr McNamara assuming the presidency in 2024.
