Westmeath Man Unsuccessful In Bid To See Girlfriend For First Time In 400 Days

He made an appeal to the Taoiseach for help.

A Westmeath man has been unsuccessful in an appeal to change the laws on essential travel. 

Mullingar's Rory Molloy wrote to the Taoiseach requesting that committed couples traveling to see one another be given an exemption under current restrictions.

Mr. Molly hasn't seen his fiancée Sarah Levesque from Connecticut for more than 400 days.
