A Westmeath mother is questioning review times for her child's disability allowance - after waiting nearly 20 weeks for a decision.
Athlone's Nancy O'Donnell started the application last December for her teenage daughter who has Down syndrome and Autism.
Her daughter meets the criteria for the allowance but has been waiting for the review to be approved since the 20th of February.
The Department of Social Protection says the average wait time for a review is currently around 10 weeks.
