Today is World Prematurity Day.

A Westmeath mother is praising the staff after they took care of her 23 week premature baby girl.

Today is World Prematurity Day, it aims to highlight the journeys of preterm infants and showcases the challenges faced by preterm children and their families.

Danielle Quinn from Killucan says the hardest part was watching other babies leaving the hospital and not being able to go home with her child.
