Westmeath is the only county in the Midlands that is above the national average vacancy rate.
4.3% of buildings in Westmeath are currently vacant according to the latest GeoDirectory report.
The national average is currently at 3.8%.
Offaly is slightly under average at 3.6% while Laois has the sixth lowest rate in the country at 2.7 per cent.
