The change will take an estimated five years.
Planning permission has been granted by Westmeath County Council for a land restoration development on a former quarry site.
The reinstatement of worked out quarry is located at Williamstown, Finnea, Co. Westmeath, which had been applied for by Brian Harton.
The project involves importing approximately 45,000 cubic metres of inert soil and stone over a five-year period, covering an area of around 1.79 hectares.
The works will also include all associated site activities and services, such as the installation of a temporary weighbridge.
