A Westmeath restaurant, which is set to close this month, is due to be replaced by a new cafe.
Coffee Haven, in Golden Island, Athlone, announced last week it would be closing its doors for the last time at the end of June.
It's set to be replaced by Spanners Cafe, which says it will continue to bring the same cozy atmosphere and high-quality offerings customers have come to love, along with some new surprises.
It also says it's a privilege to have the opportunity to fill the void left behind by Coffee Haven, which has been a beloved cornerstone of the town.
