Revenue customs officials seized over 9.3-million-euro worth of drugs at Irish ports and airports last year.
The highest amount was recovered at Ireland’s two main ports – with nearly 3.3-million-euro worth of substances seized in Dublin and 2.8 million euro in Rosslare.
The total amount of drugs recovered at seven Irish ports and airports was down significantly from 26 million euro in 2018.
