A new report suggests there will be a further increase in the number of landlords leaving the property market in the new year.
The Irish Independent /REA Average House Price Index shows there has been an annual 38% increase in landlord sales in many areas, focusing on the sale price of a three bed semi.
Westmeath is seeing the biggest increase nationally since September at €345,000 euro , up by 4.4%.
In Offaly, it's up by 1.4% to €289,000 , and it remains unchanged in Laois at €300,000.
