The session will be in Athlone this evening.
An information seminar Supporting women and diversity through Local Government engagement is being held in Westmeath today.
Roscommon County Council are collaborating with See Her Elected on this campaign.
The two - hour seminar will be led by Dr. Michelle Maher, Programme Manager at SHE, at the Athlone Springs Hotel from 7:30pm.
The session will focus on supporting women in local government, as well as the services offered by local authorities.
