Local Link bus services are set to expand links between Westmeath and Longford with the addition of a new bus service.
Route 816 will operate seven days a week serving Mullingar, Mullingar Hospital, and its surrounding areas including Ballynacarrigy and Multyfarnham.

While Route 865 will provide better rush hour services between Longford Station and the surrounding areas and villages near Longford Town.
It's part of enhancements under the National Transport Authority's Connecting Ireland Rural Mobility Plan.
