A Westmeath woman is launching 'Éist - Saying No to Silence', an advocacy and support organisation that aims to break the silence around rape and sexually motivated crimes.
Founded by Mullingar's Hazel Behan alongside Bairbre Kelly, and Sandra Daly, the organisation offers free, trauma-informed support and legal advocacy for survivors.
Its name, meaning listen in Irish, reflects its mission to listen, believe, and act.
They are urging businesses to join Éist Aware training, promoting safer, more informed communities - with all proceeds going directly to fund survivor services.
