A Westmeath woman received a life-changing 50th birthday surprise after winning the €300,000 top prize on an All Cash Gift Scratch Card gifted by her husband.
The winning €15 ticket was purchased at Spollen’s Centra in Glasson, where staff and owner Joe Spollen celebrated the major win.
The winner initially mistook the prize for €30,000 before a second glance confirmed the full €300,000 windfall.
She has kept the ticket close ever since and is now planning a dream home by the sea and a year-long world cruise.
