A Westmeath woman has won first place in a sustainable fashion competition.
Maru da Costa O’Doherty from Garnafailagh, Athlone, was crowned Overall Winner of Enable Ireland’s inaugural sustainable fashion competition, thanks to her impressive upcycling talents.
The grand finale took place at The Complex in Smithfield, Dublin, where Maru, who works as an Environmental Compliance Officer, also took home the award in the Upcycling category.
