Zeus the African Wild Cat was discovered in Roscommon.

A Wild cat has been rehomed after it appeared in a Midlands home.

Zeus the African Wild Cat was rescued after a woman discovered the Serval in her back garden in Roscommon.

Owner Secret Valley Zoo, Anne O'Connor saved the animal and believes he was hand reared leaving him with no skills to feed himself in the wild.

The zoo has sourced a female companion for him in the facility.
