A woman, accused of stabbing a 23-year-old man to death in the UK earlier this year, has been arrested in Offaly.
The 31-year-old woman is charged in connection with the murder of David Gavin in Manchester.
Kelly Margaret Gray, with an address at Windmill Court, Rochdale, Manchester, was arrested in Crinkle in Birr earlier this month.
The mother of four appeared before the High Court in Dublin yesterday, accused of killing 23 year old Mr. Gavin, in Rochdale on May 17th last.
The European Arrest Warrant seeking her extradiction to the UK, claims that during a disturbance, Ms Gray produced a knife and stabbed the landscape gardener, who later died of his injuries in hospital.
There was no application for bail and Ms. Gray is being remanded in custody.
The case has been adjourned until next month.
