A woman is due to appear before the courts this morning in relation to thefts spanning 30 years in Laois.
The woman, who is in her 70s, was arrested in May of last year following an investigation by Gardaí attached to the Department of Social Protection into fraudulent payments.
She is due to appear before Laois District Court at 10.30am this morning.
