The two vehicle collision took place on Saturday afternoon.
A woman in the Midlands was hospitalised after being involved in a two car collision over the weekend.
The woman, who is in her 50s, was uninjured following the crash at the Red Cow Roundabout in Longford Town at around 2pm on Saturday.
However she lost her footing after getting out of her car and hit her head off the ground.
After receiving treatment at the scene from emergency services, the woman was brought to the Midlands Regional Hospital in Tullamore and was later discharged that night.
