A major conference is taking place with Crohn's and Colitis Ireland and IBD this weekend.
'People who meet me would never know I had been ill'.
Those are the words of founding member of Crohn's and Colitis Ireland, Therese McCullagh-Melia, from Mullingar who was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis at the age of 14.
Crohn's and Colitis Ireland is set to host a major national conference for people with IBD in Cork city, Marking World Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Day on Sunday May 19th.
